IDENTITY MATTERS : WHO ARE YOU?

Text: Acts 19:15
“Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?” (KJV)
This may be one of the most unsettling questions in Scripture.
The demon recognized Jesus. It recognized Paul. But it could not recognize the seven sons of Sceva because they were operating on a borrowed identity. They knew the language of faith but lacked the reality of relationship.
Many today are known by their titles, achievements, positions, and reputation. But heaven is not impressed by titles. Hell is not intimidated by credentials. The real question is:
Who are you when your title is removed? Who are you when no one is watching? Who are you before God?
Paul was known because he belonged to Christ. His authority flowed from relationship, not position.
You can borrow another person’s message, style, or platform, but you cannot borrow their walk with God.
The question still echoes today:
Jesus I know. Paul I know. But who are you?
Prayer
Father, deliver me from borrowed spirituality. Let my identity be rooted in Christ alone, so that my life carries the evidence of a genuine walk with You. Amen.
